First coursing trial of the year. Kauai QC'ed one day and the next day got her first points and it was a major

Kauai showed two days since we are only looking for a major. She was Winner's Bitch both days. Her next shows will be in Lakeland.
KAUAI IS A FIELD CHAMPION
We went coursing at the GOGLCA and Kauai won the Open Class on Saturday and got 2 more points. Her mother, Harlo, was Best of Breed. Harlo is now 1 point from her LCX title.
On Sunday, Kauai won the Open for 3 points and went on to win Best of Breed for a 5 point major and she received her Field Champion title.
Fetti… well. Fetti went Coursing
And Maverick was second in the Open class on Sunday and got another point toward his DC.
SSRRC AKC Lure Coursing
And not to be outdone by his daughter!! Maverick got his SECOND Lure Coursing Major at the SSRRC Coursing event on March 29, 2026. Go Maverick!!
SSRRC Regional Specialties
Kauai had a great Sunshine State Rhodesian Ridgeback Regional Specialty on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, Kauai became a FIFTH generation Dual Champion when she went Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners at SSRRC Regional #1. Thank you, breeder judge, Pam Lambie for this awesome win and finishing Kauai from the Bred By class.
On Sunday, first time in the ring as a special, Kauai was awarded an Award of Merit under Douglas Johnson!
