October 23, 2010 was the Sunshine State Rhodesian Ridgeback Club's Fall Fun Day held at Spring Oaks Animal Hospital. What an awesome facility. Thank you Dr. Paula and Alan Alshouse for letting us once again come and enjoy ourselves for the afternoon.
There were baskets to raffle, Rescue Items to donate to and even a Halloween Doggie costume party. Of course no Fun Day is complete without the lure coursing. Carol Smith had her newest batch of pups try it out and a few of them really showed promise... and a few more decided they would rather just run and play and not chase the bag.
The weather was delightful, the food was good and the company was fantastic. If you missed it this year, please make sure you try and attend the Spring Fun Day.
As some of you know, this was my last event as the Events Committee Chairperson. I have enjoyed organizing and meeting so many Ridgeback lovers. The new Chair will be Kimberly Myers. Welcome, Kim! I am sure you will do great!
