If puppyhood is more than you think you can handle and an older dog appeals to you, please consider rescue. There are many rescues all over that deal with Ridgebacks and they are more than willing to get you that special dog. Please take the time to visit their sites and if so compelled, make a donation. It has been a hard year for the Ridgeback rescues all over. And please remember, responsible breeders are not the reason these dogs are in rescue, the owners and the puppymillers (PM) and the BackYard Breeders(BYB) are. |
