When we decided to leap in to the world of conformation we started looking for local breeders here in Florida. We needed to have someone that would teach us the ropes of being in the show ring. Someone that would go to the shows with us and be there along the way. Ginny Merchant, at Kengali Rhodesians, came along and pretty soon we found ourselves with our second Ridgeback, Finn.

Finn is your typical Rhodesian Ridgeback. He loves his food, loves to chase things, he loves his toys and most of all, he loves his people. He is very protective of his home, his yard and his people and very loyal as well. Meet him on the street and he is a friendly, happy boy.
On March 22, 2009, Finn earned his first AKC title when he got his Junior Courser. He sure loves to chase the bunny and we can't wait to turn him lose on the field. Without a doubt, he will be a Field Champion one day. Finn is now one run away from being a SC. He went BOB on the field September 13, 2009 and ran a good BIF run but lost to the best runner in the counry, a Whippet named Junior. The next day, Finn finished 2nd in the RR's and got his first point toward his FC title. Go FINN!!!
